Earn Your Passport Stamp
The Passport To Your National Parks© program is a family-friendly program that offers cancellation stamps at various historic and natural sites throughout the country. The stamps record the site visited and the date of the visit. Once you get started, it’s hard to stop – you’ll want to collect them all! The Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area offers thirteen Passport To Your National Parks© stamps, with more planned. Sites include historic attractions, recreational opportunities and businesses specializing in creative endeavors that help promote local economies. Listed below are links to all of the MSNHA stamp locations. If you’re making a special trip to a site, please confirm with someone at the location that it will be open for you – many of these attractions and businesses are managed by volunteers and part-time staff and maintain flexible hours.
Passport stamps are always free; if a location normally charges an admission fee but all you want is the stamp, you won’t have to pay admission. But we hope you’ll explore the opportunities each location offers while you’re there. Passport books are available at most NPS gift shops – the nearest to the MSNHA are the Shiloh (Tennessee) National Military Park and the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center, in Tupelo, Mississippi -- and at the Eastern National website, where you’ll also find more information about the Passport To Your National Parks© program. Enjoy experiencing our MSNHA treasures!
