Ye Ole General Store is THE place to go for all things Muscle Shoals music. A retail store has been in this spot since 1947; owner Gordon Glasscock’s grandfather bought & renamed it in 1973 and Glasscock has owned it since 2006. Shop here for rare CDs and T-shirts–and buy a sun hat if you’re headed to the W.C. Handy Music Festival! Don’t forget to look up at the dozens of music-history photos on the wall while you’re browsing the rest of the general-store merchandise.
