Born a sharecropper’s son in Danville, Jesse Owens went on to worldwide fame in sports and humanitarianism. The museum includes interactive kiosks, a replica of the cabin where Owens was born and a theatre that screens the rare film “Return to Berlin” that he narrated during the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
