TJ Johnson
Interim Director
TJ Johnson is the Interim Director for Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area. He follows his passion for developing access to cultural & natural resources for all at MSNHA, while promoting ecological resilience and preservation of Northwest Alabama's rich biodiversity. TJ holds a master of science in recreation management from the University of North Alabama and bachelors of science in conservation biology and psychobiology from Oregon State and the University of California, Davis, respectively. In his free time, TJ enjoys climbing, local history & gardening.
Clayton Davis
Historic Resources Manager
Clayton directs & collaborates with MSNHA staff & consultants to interpret history & conduct research for educational projects. A graduate from UNA’s public history master's program, he received his BA in anthropology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was a field technician for Tennessee Valley Archaeological Research private archaeology firm. He also designs exhibits and creates interpretive content for mobile devices. He loves movies & helps produce short films with friends.
Terah Klein
Business Manager
Terah works with the MSNHA and the Center for Learning & Professional Development at UNA. She has a bachelor's in accounting from the University of Alabama, a master’s in accounting from UAB and an MBA from UNA. She has worked in manufacturing, non-profit, construction and education in the past 20+ years. She lives in Tuscumbia with her husband and enjoys reading, watching football & hiking in her spare time.
Cathy Wood
Media Coordinator
Cathy helps tells MSNHA’s stories through our various media platforms. A former TimesDaily staff writer and adjunct instructor at UNA, she’s directed media for museums, art associations and other non-profits. She lives in Corinth, Mississippi, with her husband, fellow journalist John Pitts. She loves hanging out with friends & family – including her three grandsons.
