Celebrating Cane Creek Canyon

Spring is one of the best times to visit Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve – the waterfalls are flowing & wildflowers are blooming. This year is even more special as we celebrate the Lacefield’s donation of Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve to Land Trust of North Alabama. For over 40 years, Jim and Faye Lacefield have preserved Cane Creek Canyon’s natural resources, welcoming visitors to share this special place in northwest Alabama. This donation to the Land Trust ensures Cane Creek Canyon’s continued conservation & public access. Beginning with wildflower hikes at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 29, we’ll wrap up Earth Month by celebrating the legacy of the Lacefields & the future of Cane Creek.
