Young Learners Series — Mussels

Florence Indian Mound and Museum Florence, AL

October's Young Learners Series, at the Florence Indian Mound Museum, focuses on the importance of freshwater mussels to the Southeastern peoples. Students will create an exhibit about what they've learned. The programs help elementary-age students explore Native American history & culture in the Shoals through hands-on learning exercises.
