Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts

The center of Florence’s thriving art community, this city-owned museum anchors downtown arts events and offers free exhibits featuring some of the South’s most exciting works. The buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic places and include a permanent exhibit of historical items. They are on the north side of Wilson Park, the central city park included in the original 1818 plans for Florence.
