Located on the banks of the Tennessee River near the mouth of Cypress Creek, this historic area was once part of local Native American homelands. Today it’s a Florence city park that’s a favorite outdoor spot for fishing, camping, boating, swimming, picnicking and more. McFarland also hosts bass and golf tournaments as well as music festivals and other gatherings.
