Dismals Canyon Conservatory

Dismals Canyon is a privately-owned conservatory that offers spectacular views of unspoiled wilderness inside the canyon area. The canyon, which is home to more than 350 different species of animal and plant life, has two main waterfalls, six natural bridges and towering boulders that were created during prehistoric earthquakes. Evening tours of the canyon area are recommended, as these give visitors the opportunity to see dismalites, a rare glowworm that has a fluorescent green glow.
